About Our Church
About Us
Established in the year 1990, Our Lady of the Forsaken Church has been a spiritual home to the faithful of Malwani Colony. Our founding parish priest, Fr. Francis Xavier, laid the cornerstone of a vibrant and growing community.

Located in the heart of Mumbai’s largest suburb Malad West, our parish now serves around 300 families, united in faith, fellowship, and a deep desire to grow closer to God.

Our parish is a place where hearts are uplifted, and lives are transformed through prayer, sacraments, and service.

We warmly welcome you to be a part of our parish family—come share in our joys, graces, and mission.

Our Lady of the Forsaken, pray for us!
Around Us
Our Lady of the Forsaken Church is a parish of approximately 300 families, located in Malad, the largest suburb of Mumbai. We are part of the Borivali Deanery under the Archdiocese of Bombay.

Our parish is shepherded by Fr. Wilfred Vaz, whose pastoral leadership and meaningful liturgical services inspire and guide our community. He is ably supported by Deacon Sebastian Fernandes, who plays an active role in coordinating parish associations and fostering a vibrant, faith-filled environment.

We share close bonds with our neighboring parishes—Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Orlem, and St. Anthony’s Church, Malwani—as we journey together in faith and service.
