About Us

Our parish was founded on 26th January 1991 and Fr. Francis Xavier was the first parish priest.

Situated in the heart of the largest suburb in Mumbai - Our Lady Of The Forsaken Church, Malwani Colony is home to 300+ families.

This parish is rich in spirituality and in a honest longing for God.

Our Lady Of The Forsaken Pray for us!

We are a parish of around 300 families situated in Mumbai's largest suburb - Malad. We belong to the Archdiocese of Mumbai - Borivali Deanery.

We have a single priest - Fr Wilfred Vaz who guides our community with meaningful services.

He is assisted by Deacon Sebastian Fernandes who helps run various associations to build a vibrant community.

Our neighboring parishes are Our Lady of Lourdes Church (Orlem) and St. Anthony's Church (Malwani).
